What You Need To Know About Today
From Matt Law, your Editor and Guide

 --------------------------- EDITOR'S NOTE ----------------------------
As far as I'm concerned, it never hurts to befriend the people responsible for
preparing your food. I'll never forget my high school lunch lady. Her name was
Margaret and she was simply the best. While my fellow classmates were stuck with the
standard one scoop of whatever mystery dish she was serving that day, my pal Margaret
would hook me up with an extra spoonful. No more chocolate milk in the cooler? Not a
problem. I knew there'd be some behind the scenes tucked away for me. It was a pretty
good deal that has been unmatched to this day.

 Brown Bag Lunch Recipes

 -Busy Cooks Guide Linda Larsen
Busy Cooks Guide Linda Larsen offers some general advice about school lunches and
then shares some of her favorite recipes. As a former picky eater, I got a kick out of
this bit: "If your child wants the same thing day after day, go ahead and pack it, as
long as the overall meal is nutritious and you are sure your child eats it."

 Lunchbox Goodies

 -Home Cooking Guide Peggy Trowbridge
Kids may get tired of the same meal over and over. Home Cooking Guide Peggy
Trowbridge shows you how to liven up your school lunchboxes so the meals you prepare
end up in their stomach and not in the trashcan.

Food Allergies Go Back to School

 -Allergies Guide Judy Tidwell
I don't think I remember anyone being allergic to peanuts or any other food when I
was in elementary school. It seems like it might be more common these days as
Allergies Guide Judy Tidwell says 5-8 percent of American children have food
allergies. Before you pack your child's lunchbox, you should read this feature.

 Email Course
The PHP Language Basics Course is an introductory course to the PHP language.
Although PHP is a wonderful language for building dynamic web sites, the truth is you
won't get far if you don't know how the language works. If you've programmed before,
learning a new language isn't tough. But if you're just starting out, it can feel like
learning to program is almost impossible. Not so!
