Deb, I LOVE multi-age, it is loosely like Montessori. Unfortunately, Kailey will not be part of the multi-age this year, they changed to a looped classroom, meaning the children stay with the same teacher for two years (k-1, 2-3, 4-5). I really think that if you are in a multi-age K-1, your kindergartner will really benefit from it.

Josh is still a bit sore, but he's trying hard to get back into all his activities. And brother Jonah came home from his grandparents. He had a great time, but says he's not anxious to go back unless just for a day visit or a longer visit with all of us. We're busily getting him ready for first grade--got most of his supplies before we had to go in for surgery, but we've got a few more things to get. It should be an interesting school year. He was selected for a multi-age class, which includes kids in grades 1-3. It's supposed to be a great program, but we'll see. Thanks for the well-wishes and extra prayers you've sent our way.
