The shot I personally feel is most important is the tetnus (spelling) shot, over the past years I have also started to feel the one that stops certain meningitis too. I have know a few children to get meningitis and it is an awful disease, it is why I did not delay my girls 2 mo, as we would be traveling and I was worried. But I will tell you if the girls would have been born premature which happens with twins I would have delayed their shots, one of the offices we interviewed the dr, that was close to our home, said they do not allow it, it is too hard for their record keeping, and only 1 family changed cause of that (lovelace a big HMO) well now he can say two families changed! We drove to the other side of the next city to get a ped. My second son got sick a high fevor after a set of shots, dr said it was not the shots, but I don't know. I always give tylenol 20 -30 minutes before I let them give the girls a shot, I don't know if it helps or not but I worry about swelling. With my one son I held off shots until I felt ready to deal with it (the one who got the temp, who also has the SI) the schools just had me sign a paper saying my religion or beliefs did not agree. He now has all his shots, but I don't like anyone pushing or bullying me. Did you hear a whole bunch of flu vacines had problems recently?
