Congrats on all the new babies!!!!

My little one is still in the womb. I'm now 37 weeks gestation. Baby
is currently breech (bottom down), though spends a lot of time
transverse (sideways) also. I am trying many things to get baby to
turn head down.

Baby's position is troubling. I don't know what I will face for the
birth. If baby is sideways when I go into labor, I will have a
c-section. If baby is head down, I can have either a homebirth (my
plan) or a hospital birth. If baby is bottom down, I can have a
homebirth (my midwife is experienced in attending breech births) but
not a hospital births (the doctors no longer want to do breech because
of law suits unless I can find someone willing to make an exception who
still remembers how).

I am very much hoping to avoid a c-section. Two of my five children
have been born by c-section. The recovery for me is much more
difficult than from vaginal birth. I have been grateful for my
c-sections when they were needed, don't get me wrong. I want the
safest birth for this baby as always and hope that surgery doesn't have
to be part of it (since surgery increases risks to both baby and me).

So, that's my update. Hopefully in a few weeks, I will be here
announcing the birth of my baby and all will be well. :)

Prayers for baby to turn head down and stay that way would be most
appreciated!
