We are doing well. The boys are growing us SO fast. I was away from them for 9 days and I swear Donovan learned how to talk and Zack grew 3 inches while I was gone, LOL! As for me, my trip to Alberta a couple of weeks ago was fabulous!!! Of course, my life can never just be simple, right? LOL! Have I got a story for you guys!!! So, my plan was fly to Calgary, catch a ride with a cousin to Red Deer and visit with him and another cousin for awhile while my other cousin from Edmonton met me there, visited with us then I went back to Edmonton with her. Pretty simple. Well, no, LOL! The one cousin who was supposed to pick me up had a ball tournament, the other cousin in Red Deer had to go out of town and the one from Edmonton ended up with her car in the shop. So I am on the phone the night before I leave talking to the guy that I was going to visit in Airdrie later on that week and telling him my dilemma and that I would probably just take the bus from the airport to Edmonton. He says that his roommate has a friend in Edmonton so he'd take me there if I paid for his gas and it would be a free trip for him to visit his friend. Ok, cool. So, the next morning I fly to Calgary and catch a ride with a perfect stranger. Well in the time it takes to get from Calgary airport to Edmonton, we totally hit it off, LOL!!! We end up spending the day together in Edmonton before he dropped me off at my cousins' and we proceeded to talk n the phone and text cell phones back and forth during the whole week. So the big dilemma... What do we tell his roommate, the guy I was initially going to visit?! LOL! I didn't plan on having any kind of girlfriend/boyfriend relationship with him. He was well aware of that and totally in agreement. Basically, I was just coming down for the weekend to hang out with a friend, have some fun and do a bit of partying. Ok, so Chris (the guy I am with) works nights so the night I got there I just hung out with Allan (the first guy I knew) and watched movies. He was going golfing EARLY the next morning and I was just supposed to hang out at his place until he got home. So, since Chris was at work for the night, Allan told me to sleep in Chris's bed. How convenient was that?! LOL! Before bed I reinforced the platonic relationship between us and he was totally cool with it so I went to Chris's bed and he went to his. Well, the next morning I was awakened by a warm body, LOL! ;o) We had our fun then I hung out in the living room and Chris went to sleep so Allan came home and nothing was any different. We go out for dinner then go back and Chris is up. So we all make small talk then Allan proceeds to tell me that he has invited his ex psycho, um, I mean, girlfriend out to the bar with us!!! So immediately I turn to Chris and say, "You are SO coming to the bar with us tonight!!!" So, off we go to a bar in Calgary. Allan lost in Rock, Paper, Scissors so he was the D.D. of Chris's car and I was in the back with Allan's ex - who decided to freak out on Allan the WHOLE way into the city. It was AWFUL! So once we got to the bar Chris & I ditched them and went to a different level. We were going to leave completely but they found us so we ended up going back to Airdrie to a pub so Allan could drink and we'd all just walk back to their place. Well, by this time Chris has had a few drinks of liquid courage so says to Allan that "his friend has got it going on and does he mind if he makes a move?" Apparently Allan gives him his blessing then when Chris goes to the washroom, lets me know that Chris is into me. I acted surprised and said that I was into Chris too. We were out, LOL! So, Saturday was spent hanging with both guys but hand in hand with Chris and it was fine. Sunday, Allan went golfing and Chris & I spent the day together. Allan had a few comments here and there but wasn't angry at us as far as we knew and that was my main concern. I didn't want them to not be able to live together and have it all be my fault. It was not my plan for that to happen. I had a big talk with Allan after I got home and everything was cool. He was a bit put out but we talked it through so it's all good now. Chris & I talked on the phone all week then he surprised me and was at my door last Friday around noon and stayed with me for the long weekend. It was fabulous!!! He will be back next weekend for his brother's surprise birthday but after that, who knows when we will see each other again? So, that is my story. Isn't it insane?! LOL! SO not my intention to have a long distance relationship with someone who lives an entire province away but who am I to argue with the many, many coincidences that threw us together!!! It has happened for some reason and I am very curious to see where this adventure will lead me. We have talked about it and are trying to not get too serious too quickly because of the distance involved but it is not easy.
