Dear TGIF Friend,
As crazy as it sounds, we did just that!
We put our house up for sale, left the comfort of nearby family and
friends, uprooted our lives, and moved with our three small children to
Atlanta.
Hello, my name is Joey Watkins. I moved from sunny Florida six months
ago with my wife and family to become the Operations Manager for Os and
Angie Hillman at Marketplace Leaders. When Os and Angie needed to write
a letter to friends of Marketplace Leaders I asked if I might share with
you �why I feel so strongly that Marketplace Leaders is one of the best
investments that you can make to transform peoples� lives for Christ
through the workplace.�
I was first introduced to Os several years ago through his email
devotional, Today God Is First. It greatly ministered to me during a
personal work-related crisis, and I was also able to share it with
friends who were facing the same crisis. Last fall, I had the
opportunity to hear Os speak in Jacksonville. At that time, strangely
enough, I got an impression that I would be working with him, but did
not know when or how.
So my wife and I committed it to prayer.
Then, last December, Os and Angie presented a need for administrative
and operational help. I felt as if God�s Spirit instantly spoke to me
with two words: �That�s it!� He confirmed this through my wife, my
pastor, and a number of circumstances. The rest, as they say, is
history.
Now that I have seen first-hand the ministry of Marketplace Leaders I
can tell you with confidence that we are making a difference in the
lives of people who can impact their workplaces, cities and nations for
Christ. I am amazed at the number of letters we receive regularly from
people across the world who are impacted by this small, but far-reaching
ministry. Let me share a few of them with you.

You Can Be God�s Instrument to Transform More Lives and More Workplaces
Did you know that almost half of our income is received through generous

Why Is Marketplace Leaders A Worthy Investment?
Every business must deliver a reason for the customer to purchase its
product. Every ministry must deliver a reason to support their work. Let
me give you a few reasons why I believe Marketplace Leaders is a worthy

1. TGIF Daily Devotional. Os has made this available for free since
1997 and today it goes to more than 80,000 subscribers daily. Our goal
is to see that number increase to 250,000! In order to achieve this we
must provide the technology infrastructure to deliver these encouraging
messages without disruption. Today we are seeing more anti-spam
filtering software programs being used that hinders legitimate
ministries like ours who are delivering a message of hope and
encouragement.
2. New and Innovative Services. New educational and training resources
are being developed all the time. Free Marketplace Articles, programs
like Marketplace Mentor, free web hosting of TGIF, books, conferences, a
Faith and Work Resources Website, and Marketplace Workshops are being
produced to help train men and women to fulfill God�s calling in their
lives. Your support helps bring these resources to you and others who
want to live for Jesus in their workplace.
3. Support of a Global Movement. God has birthed a global faith and
work movement, and Angie and Os have committed their lives to this
cause. As founder and director of the International Coalition of
Workplace Ministries (ICWM), Os seeks to build unity among various
leaders to fan the movement globally. However, if they are going to
impact your life and others in your workplace, city, or even your
nation, it is going to take a collective commitment from individual
workplace believers like you and me to see this happen.
