Cancellations mount as Ivan, Jeanne approach

At least five Gulf Coast airports have suspended flights today, and air
travelers face more hurricane-related headaches as Category 4 Ivan

Fed up with pension defaults

Citing failure of two big airlines to make payments to their pension
plans, top officials Tuesday called on Congress to make it harder for
corporations to dump obligations on taxpayers. The head of the Pension
Benefit Guaranty Corp. said his agency needs a stronger legal claim on
such companies.
