Tips To Help You Look Your Best Keep Your Suit Jacket Looking Good - Chances are, if you wear a suit to work, you remove it when you're working at your desk. Where do you put it? Many men drape their jackets over the backs of their chairs, but this really isn't the best idea. If you do hang your jacket on the back of your chair, make sure the chair is high enough to ensure that your jackets don't trail on the floor. At least this way, you'll avoid dragging your jacket in dirt, kicking it, or rolling over it. The only problem would still be that every time you get up, sit down, or make a move, you're going to be moving that jacket, even just a bit. Enough of that, and your jacket is going to look sloppy. If you have a "guest chair" or some other extra chair in your office or cubicle, where no one sits on a regular basis, that's a better selection for draping your jacket. It's more likely to stay put, and consequently, more likely to hold its shape. Better yet: Get yourself a sturdy hanger and a hook on your wall (or the back of your office door) and hang your jacket properly.
