BlankI haven't had a chance to post for a couple of days, so I'm trying to catch up a
bit!
Betty - thanks for sharing the great story about the new man in your life! You could
have a very difficult relationship with the guy next door, so closeness doesn't
necessarily mean it's easier! Go for it. Give it a chance to see what happens. If
you don't, you'll probably always wonder what might have been. I hope everything
works out for you :-)
"Martha you sound so wise!"
Mel - LOL, looks like I have you fooled! I don't know about wise, but I am old, LOL!!
Kindergarten is quite a jump, don't you think. It's scary sending our children off
into the big world like that! My oldest is gone all day, every day this year for the
first time. I really miss her and I already feel like I didn't spend enough time with
her when she was home, sniff, sniff.
" it's amazing what you can adapt to and manage. 5 years ago, I would have
said you were nuts if you would tell me I'd end up with 2 boys under 3... Now, I seem
to be coping. Or at least effectively deluding myself!"
Lisa - LOL!! Funny line!! Some days I think I have myself happily deluded too.
Other days, I think, who an I kidding, I can't do this, LOL!
"The really annoying thing is that Xan (my 4 1/2 month old) USED to sleep 8
hours at a stretch until early August, when he got sick"
I always find that my children get off track after being sick. They say that we all
wake up several times every night. As adults, we usually don't even realize it. But
babies need to learn to go back to sleep. When they're sick, we're getting up with
them and helping them to re-settle. So for a while after they are sick, it's like
they have to re-learn to settle themselves back into sleep. I'm sure he'll settle
back into his good sleep habits soon. BTW, I love that name! Is it short for
anything?
