Bush, Kerry Tentatively Settle on 3 Debates
Both presidential campaigns have tentatively settled on a debates package that each side views as a potentially decisive chance to sway huge audiences ahead of the election, Democrats and Republicans said.

The Justice Department in recent weeks has launched several criminal inquiries into alleged voter fraud in key presidential battlegrounds, but Democrats complain they are putting too much emphasis on investigating new voter registrations in poor and minority communities -- which tend to favor Democrats.
