Hi Erin,
I am a sahm too. As far as not resenting
your husband for working. Just try to find the positive in your
situation compared to his.
My husband has to get up really early for
work. I
get to sleep in.
My husband gets breaks through out the
day. I
move at my own speed, with no one breathing down my neck.
My husband gets to talk to the same adults all
the
time.
I get to chat on line with other moms that I
can relate too.
My husband gets to come home to the kids somewhat
refreshed. I get to see most of the babies
firsts.
Hope this helps.
Grace

Subject: [sahm] introduction
Hi, my name is Erin and I am an american living
in France. I have two sons 5 and 3 months. I started mt career
as a SAHM when I was 3 months pregnant with my second child. I was
lucky though and my former employer let me bring my first son to work with
me so he has never been in daycare.
I find staying at home difficult since I have
worked over 15 years before and actually miss getting up everyday and
preparing for my job. This new job is definitely my hardest. How
to stay motivated for housework? How to not snak all day? How to
not become crazy talking to a five year old non-stop? How to not
resent a little my successful working husband?
Don't get me wrong, I want to be at home.
I know how important my mother's presence was to me growing up. It
made a real difference to me. I also want my son's raised by our
principles. Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you.
Erin
