Notre Dame threat overshadows win
Rodney Trimm didn't take much time to enjoy Palmdale's 30-0 victory over Kennedy of Granada Hills on Friday. As happy as Trimm was to be back on the field after a one-game suspension, he couldn't help but look ahead to next week's opponent.

"I tried not to think about it the week before in practice because I had to focus on Kennedy, but as soon as the game was over and we were on the bus ride home, all I could think about was Notre Dame next week and that the showdown was coming," he said....[MORE]

Highland star's hopes stay high with hot start
Highland High golfer Erik Jarvey is hoping a strong senior season will be worth an NCAA Division I golf scholarship, and he is off to a good start in playing the part of that equation.
