RESOURCES FOR EDUCATORS
Stakeholder
Communications
As
technology plays a greater role in education, it can also change the way those inside school
buildings address key stakeholders on the outside. The editors of eSchool
News have
compiled a collection of stories and features about how effective communication through eMail
and the web can take weight off an educator's shoulders.
Data Management and
NCLB
In spite of the computer revolution, too many schools remain "data rich and
information
poor." At
one time, that might have been acceptable, but in the era of No Child Left
Behind
and high-stakes accountability, the lack of intelligible, actionable information
is no
longer tolerable. The editors of eSchool
News have put together an Educator's Resource Center that
helps you discover
what's
at the cutting edge of data analysis.
Finding
Funding
Believe it or not, funding for school technology is plentiful. Our
Educator's
Resource Center helps you learn where to find it, how
to ask for it, and how to play by the rules when you get it.
Professional
Development
The eSchool News Online Store
now offers professional-development
courses from CaseNEX. Many of these
courses can be taken
for graduate-level credit.
Here are just a few of the
courses that begin this week:
