An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) isn’t
just a nicety these days; it’s a necessity. Take a look at the
power cables running behind your desk. Are they all plugged into a

that it was time to get the floors cleaned after she noticed our white
socks were starting to look black. Ah, all the carpet... [Continued]

How many times have you tried to open a program or file with a
dead shortcut? D'oh! Shortcuts are helpful, but the location to the
files that the shortcuts point to can often change. Think about it -
maybe you've uninstalled the program some time ago, or have manually
moved the file to another location. If this is done, the shortcut will
be all by its lonesome. There's no reason to have a bunch of... [Continued]

Now, this just isn't nice. Still, you have to give the spammers
points for cleverness. MessageGate has determined that spam featuring
the domain xcelent.biz has gone beyond the usual rudeness of using a
'click on an unsubscribe link' to confirm a warm body on the other
side of the e-mail inbox. This bad boy actually downloads an EXE file,

As per proper etiquette, when you send someone a letter, note, and
so on, you are supposed to sign your name at the bottom. If not, you
will be shunned from the 'letter-writing community.' Well, you can do
the same thing in Outlook Express - have your e-mails sent with your
signature. And for those of you who never think to add a signature,
Outlook Express will even do it for you automatically. Here is... [Continued]

I want a massage chair. But not just any old massage chair. I want
one that I can use as a desk chair and control with my computer. A
hand held controller just won't do. I crave a totally programmable
massage chair that I can tweak with a web interface. Imagine leaning
back at your desk, feeling that familiar twang of pain, and instantly
addressing the problem with a click. Could it get better then... [Continued]

hundreds of responses with every issue. If that sounds overwhelming,
the first issue alone got over 1000 responses! I use a few methods for
handling large email jobs and use whichever depending on the mood. The
