1. News: PayPal Outages Persist, Worry Users
Sporadic outages at PayPal stretched into a fifth day on
Tuesday, though the company late in the day reported that
access had returned to normal for most users. However,
PayPal's troubles have been affecting sellers and buyers who
have lost sales. They are questioning the payment services'
reliability.

3. Opinion: Is the ASP.Net Bug a Big Deal? MS Thinks So

ASP.Net problems seriously. Security Editor Larry Seltzer
takes a closer look.

4. Opinion: Who Gets Through the 'Help Wanted' Door?
Should Web services requests eliminate all but the very
best? Google is a good example of innovative new ways
to find job applicants. But if Google needs so many people
to work on its to-do list, why is it putting so many
barriers in front of its "Help Wanted" portal?

5. News: IBM Beefs Up WebSphere App Server Platform
IBM announced a new version of its WebSphere application
server platform, citing enhancements such as high-
availability, new capabilities for building service oriented
architectures (SOA), and better resource utilization and
improvements to the environment that could improve overall
efficiency by up to 75 percent, the company said. Read more
