Should have relevant 15-20+ years of experience. 2. Strategically lead the QA/Test initiative in the Company. Expertise in Telecom/Application domain, preferably in SS7, SIP. Should be experienced in planning and writing test strategies, test cases and test execution. Must have worked on a UNIX/LINUX platform with significant exposure to Oracle Database. 3. B.E./M.E., preferable in Electronics & Communications, CS. from Reputed colleges. 4. Testing Skills: Expert in Testing Life Cycle 5. Test Case Strategy and Planning: Must be able to form test cases out of high level requirements. 6. Protocols: Should have worked on SS7, SIP protocols; 5 years of extensive experience. 7. SOLARIS/UNIX/LINUX: Extensive hands on experience. 8. Exposure to ORacle installation, SQL queries, Oracle DB. 9. Good grounding in Network Management, SNMP, CORBA. 10. Experience in leading a large Test Team, Good Problem Solving Skills, Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills. Ability to work with Senior Management Team.

Multiple customer deals on the anvil 4. Larger and multi months efforts 5. Increased dependencies among platform, applications, validation, tech pubs and customer support teams 6. Greater coordination between US and India teams 7. Facilitate Cross-functional Product Teams - Technology, Development, and ST, Tech Pubs and Customer Support groups - to function as a team to achieve the goal set for product release. 8. Work with Engineering Lead Teams in US and India in understanding and creating Product Release Map. 9. Drive product release planning and formal tracking: 10. Formal reviews 11. Identifying and managing dependencies 12. Identifying and escalating issues in Cross-functional Product teams 13. Change request schedules � bug fixes or enhancements 14. Publish minutes 15. Ensure that the QA, Development and Tech Pubs provide with respect to mustfix, should fix, and could fix change request requirements 30. Ensure feedback is kept in mind while project planning 31. Encourage formal reviews of all planning documents 32. Ensure feedback is given by all sub teams 33. Drive and ensure that Review action items are closed 34. Maybe serve as a moderator during the reviews 35. Ensure release plan confirmation and Metrics collection 36. Organize, participate and drive post mortems of the product releaseDrive action items to closure and address issues 37. During the course of the Product release, quite a few times replanning is done. Be an active member in decisions making forums and ensure that commitments/noncommitments are decided keeping customer/user perspective in view. 38. Proactively think of the schedules/tasks that are coming up in the short term and remind owners of the same. This not only includes management of dependencies, change requests, but also deliverables like weekly status reports, reviews, etc. 39.
