mrjeffy321 There are circulated coins that sell for thousands of dollars however not to be rude but if you are new to coin collecting you will never find those coins. just looking at a date will not work for valuable varieties. You must learn how to tell one variety from another finding out which ones are or can be worth money and which ones are not. In this hobby it usually involves books or hours of research on the internet inorder to find enough information to ask anything other than what's it worth. The Red Book list all the US coins and their current approximate values but does not go much into Varieties. That will require added work.
