The one complaint I have with the Geckos is that the screws and holes are so small that one must use very small diameter wire. I have used larger diameter wire and thinned down the wire to make it fit but have had trouble getting the wire to hold securely. I had the occasion to use an Anaheim Automation drive with much larger conntectors. I wish the Geckos used the same type of connector. With a larger screw and holder the wires are very tightly and securely held.

I used one gecko for 4 years and 1,000 of work pieces, the other axis i went thru 5 geckos before i realized i had a bad stepper motor(since then after i fixed the problem no issues). > > > Carl Addresses: FAQ: http://www.ktmarketing.com/faq.html FILES: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO/files/ Post Messages: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] List owner: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Moderator: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] [Moderators] URL to this group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO OFF Topic POSTS: General Machining If you wish to post on unlimited OT subjects goto: aol://5863:126/rec.crafts.metalworking or go thru Google.com to reach it if you have trouble. http://www.metalworking.com/news_servers.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jobshophomeshop I consider this to be a sister site to the CCED group, as many of the same members are there, for OT subjects, that are not allowed on the CCED list.
