440 78 Southwind. Hello all. I am new to this group. Hope I am doing this right, if not, let me know. I have made a trade for a 30' down in the dumps rv. Have had to make a lot of upgrades to make it work for me. Roof was caved and you know the rest. Burned a lot of water, and so tore down the 440 engine top and bottom.Back together, it runs ok and have made a maiden voyage to the mts. north of Phoenix. Did ok but sluggish on hills. My question is this: has anyone tuned the quadramatic carb, and if so, how does one go about it?. seems to be running real lean right now as the exhaust stinks.the books that came with the rig conveniently steer around the carb subject.Thanks for any input and ALL info is appreciated.Don in Chandler.
