You are asking a JavaScript question on a Java group - hence part of my confusion.
As I said, JavaScript is not suitable for large operations. You'll either need to cut it down (probably way down) or write it in a different language. Unfortunately your attachments were stripped from your message, so I can't see what you're doing. However the name of the file suggests that you're constructing bookmarks, possibly by reading and parsing large quantities of data. No idea why you'd want to do that on the client's computer in JavaScript (or in any other language for that matter). A design rethink may be in order. Like to describe what you're wanting to do? Also, perhaps post the code involved, directly in a message. (Stay on the Java group by all means, many participants are also JavaScript people.) Here I am attaching the sample files. Just extract and open BookmarkTreeExample.html in the browser. You can see the alert message. So is there parallel method in java? It will be helpful, if you could guide me about that. JavaScript is not suitable for very large operations - it is a fully interpreted language and runs quite slowly. If you have lots of data to create, consider using Java. A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script? Yes/No I am using IE 6 above. regards, Santosh Mansukh BNF Technology Inc. 150, Duck jin dong, Yusong_ku, Taejon, South Korea, Zip: 305 353. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
