Stephen,

Great movie, I seem to recall sitting along side Lake Hartwell
having a chat about how cat sailing changed our lives. About now I
could use another evening like that one.

Along the line of changed lives,

Kathering and I have longed to live on the water from the first
season we sailed. I mentioned on the list last month that we had
signed contracts for a house on GreatBay and that the deal hinged on
selling our house.

When we first decided to put our house on the market we intended to
set it at a high price for our area ( my house does not belong in my
town) and then sit back and wait for the right buyer. Well we made
the mistake (?) of finding a house we fell in love with the same
week we listed our home. So much for holding out for the big
payoff. After some long discuessions between ourselves and some
with the Broker we decided our price expectations were out of line
and could kill the chance for the new house. So we knocked the
price down to reduce the sticker shock. The following weekend the
house was shown for the first time. I had told the realtor that all
they needed to do was get someone in the door and Lord help the
husband who didnt buy the house for his Mrs.

Less then 24 hours later the Broaker called and we had a full price
offer!!!

Closing is scheduled for Jan 19, 05. So ther you have it, not only
has cat sailing changed our lives but it is about to change where we
call home.

I'll post a couple pictures of the views from the deck.

Bill
