Hi all, im trying to write a java program that changes the IP address of a computer (running windows xp pro). my biggest problem is that when i change the ip in the registry itself (manually), the ip address on the NIC doesnt change at all, so i dont know if writing a java program to edit the windows registry would do what i want it to do.
