I've got a piece of code that works fine for me but in C and I'd like to
know if I can use a similar syntax with C++ file streams.
here is the code:
FILE * pdfinfo_F = popen("pdfinfo myfile.pdf", "r");
char buffer[1024];
if (!pdfinfo)
// error handling
while (fgets(buffer, 1024, pdfinfo_F) != NULL)
{
// ... line treatment
}
can I do sth like std::ifstream fin << popen(...)
or with a simple stream object...
thanks for your helpful suggestions
