Im a bit confused as to what your after, but to reverse a string:     Dim Rev as string     for i = 0 to len(text1.text)         Rev = mid$(Rev,i,1) & Rev     Next i   To extract '111111' from '111111:22222':     input = "111111:22222"     output = mid$(input,1,instr(1,input,":") - 1)     Now reading your email again, you have a file full of these '1111:222', '44444:32222' or what ever they are? They are all split up by a return.
