It is only in print on the catalogue and the guy at MPJA said they 
quoted it from the suppliers pages.   


I started thinking more about it.

24VAC to DC to cap to 33 volts DC for 240 watts.  Theoreticaly, it is 
now around 7 amps at 33 volts for 240 watts

24 VAC to DC to inductor to 24 VDC for 240 watts.

With the cap, you have an increase in voltage and a subsquent loss of 
current if only from the watts standpoint.

Factor in the innefficiences of the transformer and the cap and you 
don't loose all at much more.
