Hi Kai and Illan, I suppose that the written text of George Brickman is very close to a person who could have Romanian origin, My opinion is based on reading some of his e-mail messages and analyzing his grammatical mistakes ( I do not know it well but there are a lot of huge ones). He could be Romanian. Romanians are speaking with special accent( Hungarians are speaking worst ..their pronunciation is hard to understand sometimes the reason is why they have a wrong pronunciation because the Hungarian language is very different and it has no common roots with European languages, Romanian is based on latin language) But the most important is how to formulate a sentence in wich order you will put the words. If someone is thinking in Romanian beeing it his mother tongue he will use that order to make a sentence in English. I usually formulate a sentence in English exact how can I use it in Hungarian, but that is wrong.
I checked mihaiforgod group on yahoo ( there is only 1 member hahaha) and there were a text with incredible mistakes. There is no problem if someone cannot write in English well ( if that person is not from such a country where the English is a national language) but there is a level of your culture and education how can you use foreign languages on the internet, because this is your card of education here. Mistakes are common on the written text. We have no time to read our text back...answering a lot of e-mail messages, but a missprint is not the same with incorrect or imagined spelling. Best regards, John Horvath PS : I restarted swapping.
