Well the last SP was sp6.
Trim command depends on nothing, so I have no idea why that is failing.
Install the latest sp then see if you still get the errors.

Hi Everyone,
I just installed Visual basic 6.0 professional edition on my
computer. Along with this I also installed service pack 3 that comes
with Visual basic 6.0. I am trying to run an existing VB program.
When I tried to compile it I am getting errors like trim command,
format commad and date commands are not recognized. I am not sure
whether I am not adding any particular VB reference or componenet or
VB 6.0 is not installed correctly. Please let me know if anyone
knows what I am missing.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
