First, for all you Dodge guys, pay attention to this one:
The stock Mopar distributors are set up with way too much advance. When set at 8d initial advance, at 3500rpms I was pulling 46d of total advance. The 440 engine only needs between 34-38degrees MAX. I performed the following mods on mine last week in the machine shop: http://www.4secondsflat.com/Mopar_Distributor_Tech.html The test run was incredible. I could bump my initial advance to about 10d and it never pinged, and the power was much stronger. I'll keep you posted on mileage. Taking a short trip next weekend.
Next I installed a full set of Bilstein shocks. I had a fairly new set of Monroes on their so I could get a good comparason. The bilstiens are definatly worth the money if you drive alot.
Installed a VORAD collision avoidance radar system earlier this year. I will never own a coach without one now. www.vorad.com The safety it provides in unbelievable. I dont think I would have put it on my coach if it was not a free unit, since they retail for around $6,000. (about the value of my coach) We have been doing a buch of testing for Eaton-Vorad on our companies test coach so they set one up on mine as well.
Take care..
