This is an update to the suggestions by Jim, Robert & all.  I finally bought two Cadet mechanical thermostat by Honeywell.  This unit cost about 13.50 and is recommended to replace the line voltage controllers for electric heaters.  It was easy to install and does the job just fine (3 degree fluxuation).

Thanks to all.

  Subject: [classicrv] Electric Heater Control

The built in thermostats on the small portable electric heaters is not very good.  I would like to hook them up to a wall mounted thermostat similar to or the same as the one with the propane furnace.  So, what I need is a relay to carry the high 110v current.  Anyone have any recommendations?
