The 18 involves a little more set up and take down time when you are a trailor sailor, but it is already equipped with a roller furling jib, has deck ports for in hull storage, and since it doesn't pitchpole as easily, it might be the better choice of the two. the only down side as i seeit might be launching and retriveing it in an area that has significant tide delta's. The 16 IS a lighter boat. Stephen H-18 Group Home http://www.TheBeachcats.com Yahoo!
