Make Your Vote Count
—Albert Mohler
Does your state offer early voting? Thirty-two states now open at least some polling places in order to allow citizens to vote before the rush of Election Day. It's a good way to maximize your citizenship and assist the democratic process.
Why? By any measure, the task of organizing an election system that brings over a hundred million voters into voting booths on one day is daunting. The fiasco of Election Day 2000 must not be repeated. Early voting reduces the strain on both the voter and the voting system.
Whatever you do, make sure you vote, but why not vote early if you have the option--and avoid the risk that something might prevent your participation in the election process on November 2?
See if your state offers an early voting option by visiting operationvote.com. It's good citizenship and good government that can set the pace for the rest of the nation.
Make your vote count.
