Two Worldviews
—Albert Mohler
Just how important is this national election? By any historical perspective, this presidential election presents the American people with the starkest of choices. President Bush and Senator Kerry are not merely two different candidates representing two different political parties, they represent two divergent and opposing worldviews--two very different directions for the future of our country.
Will we press on to win the victory in Iraq, or will we show ourselves to be a nation in retreat? Will we protect marriage as the basic institution of society itself, or will we allow it to be undermined by activist judges and sexual revolutionaries? Will we protect human life at every stage of development, or will we allow human embryos to be destroyed in the name of scientific progress?
On Election Day 2004, we are doing more than electing a president--we are choosing America's direction for the future.
It's that important.
