They have all kinds of relatively cheap replacement bulbs - super bright by the way. I've replaced every bulb on my boat with the LED equivalent. Even replaced the nav light bulbs (Perko?) using the LED festoon bulbs, bending some of the LEDs out so that they cover the full 180° radius - still brighter than the old bulb. They draw less than 1/20th the amps the old bulbs did. As far as viewing angles, you are probably better off to use white LEDs and colored lenses rather than colored LEDs.
