Try to find a Roll On / Roll Off boat, it will be less expensive than as
deck cargo. If sent as deck cargo, it will take up the space of at
least 2 containers
and you will be charged accordingly.
We just sold a 31 to a customer in Holland. It is being shipped from
the Port of Newark to Bremerhaven for $2500 plus about $350 in
insurance. An added benefit is that the boat will be indoors instead
of up on deck.
