I know this thread "started out on where to sell" but digressed.
Regarding the $4-5K coaches they can be found in certain places.
After having towables all our lives ( and I'm only 56), went looking
for a Class C coach. The first place that I checked was at AAA (the
motor club) where I am a member. "They just so happened" to have a
1985 Fleetwood Jamboree Rallye, 46,000 ORIGINAL miles, that was a
recovered stolen vehicle, that they paid the owner off, and then
sold it to me. I even got ALL the manuals and service records.
Before they sold it they did the following:
New (both) captain's chairs in front cabin
New transmission
New Carpeting
New Sure-Flo water pump
COMPLETE mechanical and coach inspection
Made certain the dual air worked
PLUS a full two tanks of petrol , lube/oil change
AND a full tank of LPG! ALL THIS FOR $4,500!
Your are right, when a "find" comes, "jump on it". I went to my
financial institution, took a signature loan ( took all of fifteen
minutes) and purchased it.
