Hose it down with Silicon spray to loosen it up or Rebuild the rudder
cams, the kit is about $10 a side to do it.

Hi guys,

I got a hobie 14 turbo a little while ago and I'm having trouble with
the rudders. Ya know that little black rubber thing that locks the
rudder in the down position? Yeah, well its stuck in the down
position. I can only move the rudders up and down by loosening the
adjuster plate on the top of the rudder assembly, sliding it out of
the way, positioning the rudder up or down, and then sliding the
plate back. I've tried prying it at every conceivable angle...any
insight?

thanks,

~Steve
