best method i know and always use is slip sinker rig with a dual color floating jig head about 2 1/2 feet up the line. (fire orange and yellow) tiped with a shinner in the fall or a fat head in the summer and spring....white with a balck eye also works great. or like anything else just go trial and error and try a few diffrent colors. have you been catching and nice walleyes up the? i mostly fish the back channel in nevel island and have been catching a few dont seem as good as last year and the year before though..
