XY's teeth appear to be fairly good. Of course, I have not asked her to open her mouth and show me. I figure that is not necessary at this time. XY loves to eat most chinese dishes. So far, the only thing she won't eat are burgers (MCD) and eggs. She loves sweets. She also liked the pizza from Pizza Hut. She eats massive amounts of food. She eats twice as much as any of us. She does appear to be in good health and spirit. She is adjusting to us. She is eager to please us. She brought gifts for her brother and sisters. Very sweet gesture. She asked me to hold her money for her (10 yuan). I bought her a cd/vcd player yesterday. She has been singing along with her new music.
I think she is beginning to enjoy her new found life to an extent. XY and Lian Lian became pretty sick with theiur travel from the orpahanage. (6-8 hr trip, one way). Needless to say, we will not be visiting her orphanage this visit. No one wants to sit on a little bus for a 12 hour round trip. I beleive the girls will be pretty sick on the three flights scheduled (2 domestic; 1 international). I wish we had dramamine. What am I going to do to comfort them?
Today, we are headed for the coast to beachcomb and swim. It should be fun.
Please list again the things you want me to purchase for her and others? Just to be on the safe side.
As far as pictures, I will not be sending any. There is specific software and a card reader that I would need to do that. The instructiuons state that the camera should not try to use other software of the camera may not work correctly. You will just have to wait. Sorry. XY is very interested in meeting you.
