This has been one of the saddest weekends in my life. First, my friend's mom died on Fri. a.m. Then, today I found out that the husband of another dear friend has inoperable lung cancer and the prognosis is not good. He starts chemo this week, but at the most, it will give him a few more months. The worst of all though is that one of my best friend's nieces committed suicide a few days ago and she was only 18. She had battled depression on and off and I guess that's what did it. They don't think there were any drugs involved. When my children found out this morning at church, Kathy was like "Why would she do that, mom?" Such a waste...
