Cannot launch A# applications - 3 new
----------------------------------
... What update service? Hmm, I've got separate items in my control panel
under software for those runtimes, i.e. I could uninstall them from here ...
but IIRC none of the documents shipped with the runtime 1.1 sayd so. After all,
the .NET runtime is not a developer's tool; how could I expect non-
experienced users to try and uninstall the old runtimes before running an A#
application ... Anyone tried uninstalling V1.0 after installing V1.1?

Wiki on Ada - 11 new
----------------------------------
Hello, There are two main Entries for Ada in Wiki: http://en.wiktionary.org/
wiki/Ada http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Programming:Ada But they could do with
some improvements. Especially the Wikibooks Entry. And it is very easy: Just
grab a *random* keyword which which has no article yet and write something
about it. Everybody can do that. With Regards Martin... - Sat, Nov 6

Abstract Operations On A Tagged Record - all new
----------------------------------
BTW: I've been mucking around with this for the last few days and, after much
struggling, have concluded that attempting to do this (while it may indeed
work) started becoming entirely too unwieldy. Trying to keep stalling off the
problems with more and more layers of indirection started becoming painful.
What I'm doing is basically leaving those operations out of the base class
and (where it makes sense) I'm creating layer(s) of intermediate classes that
get more and more specific about what the required ... - Sat, Nov 6 2004

ANNOUNCE: XIA (XPath In Ada) - all new
----------------------------------
A limited capability beta version of XIA, a native implementation of XPath In
Ada, is now available on the Mckae Technologies website ( http://www.mckae.
com/xia.html ). Version: 0.10 This current version of XIA is a limited-
capability beta release. It implements the axes and the node tests, but does
not yet implement any predicate filtering. So an XPath query returns all the
nodes meeting the node test along the given axes. Predicate processing will
be incrementally added to XIA in subsequent releases, but right now any ... -

EVIL FBI SADISTS should be KIDNAPPED and TORTURED for 3 YRS - all new

Someone emailed and requested me to post it on Usenet newsgroups. Sadistic
FBI agents should be tortured the way how FBI sadists and perverts tortured
this poor guy (non-muslim) for three years and continue to torture him even
after he left america tracking him with implanted transponder chips and other
methods. FBI is an evil organization and those FBI sadists and perverts
deserve to be kidnapped and their eyes gouged, noses and ears chopped off,
forced to eat their own feces and drink their own piss and extra hot... -
