Been there, as ever at the end of a regatta when one of the crew has slipped
and you realise its time for some deck friction before crew friction.  The
other bit is that its usually only a few days before it has to be
completed, so you never do it quite as well as youd like.

I scraped all the loose stuff off, pressure-washed with washing-up liquid,
and then simply painted on non-slip deck paint (International).  It appears
to be completely unnoticeable, which I take to mean that its working fine.

Two points to watch:  You need to leave it for at least a few days to set,
or else footmarks appear.  Masking the job up takes forever, so it can be
done freehand without too much trouble but inevitably wont look as good

Happy painting!

Subject: F-27 Non skid paint

Hi All:
Now that I am the proud owner of F-27 (Hull # 126) I have a zillion
maintenance questions to help me get the boat into shape.

For starters, has anyone re-painted the non-skid surfaces? I would like to
know what is the best paint to use on this surface and the best way to prep
this surface for application.
