EVENT INVITATION: ITALIAN AGILE SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP Agile Alliance Europe in conjunction with Exoftware is pleased to announce the inaugural Italian Agile Special Interest Group � or Agile SIG. The aim of the Italian Agile SIG is to bring IT and business together in a forum to discuss, and share experiences and practises in Agile Software development.
Who should attend and why ? Software delivery professionals involved in the development of and delivery of business critical systems, who are interested in learning more about Agile methods and how they can support rapidly changing business needs. We would encourage business people with responsibility for initiating software development projects to attend and learn more about extracting business value using Agile software development. Timetable 10.00-10.30 Registration and Overview 10.30-11.30 Marco Trincardi, Exoftware Marco will evaluate traditional software development, and detail what is working and what is not. He will uncover how Agile processes can address software issues and outline the principles behind the Agile Manifesto. As part of this introduction, he will examine a real case in Agile, using a real user story from a current Exoftware development project. The case will look at an initial user story presentation, estimation, scheduling, delivery of acceptance tests, and implementation through "Test Driven Development". Marco Trincardi As head of Marco is an experienced technical leader and analyst, with a depth of experience in Agile Methods. He is an active leader in the Italian Agile community and is dedicated to the work of software process improvement through mentoring, coaching and consultancy. Marco is an active voice on the European Agile conference circuit and has a keen interest in the testing aspects of Agile. He brings a depth and breadth of experience to his work, with special focus on C++Exoftware's Agile Services, Sean Hanly has trained hundreds of developers and managers in software development practices, and has advised many global, Agile-minded companies in their transitions to an Agile Organisation. 11.30-12.30 Marco Abis, Agility SPI Traditional approach to developing and project management are no longer reliable for delivery business values in time and budget. Agile solutions to those problems will be discussed. Focus on ROI as planning giude for software projects. Case history will be presented.
