I have an F24 MK I and a Catana 431 (43 ft catamaran). On the Catana I
have a Wasi anchor and Wasi anchor swivel. This is by far the best anchor
I have ever used and the best swivel I have ever seen. They will set in
any bottom you can set any anchor in. They are rock solid, no moving parts
except of course the swivel. The anchor buries itself when others just
skip along or turn over or whatever. I have never seen my Wasi upside down
on the bottom or anyway other than right. Its an amazing anchor and I have
had plenty of guest sailors who know a lot more than me say the same thing
to me. Do a google search and you will see plenty of stuff regarding
them. You won't see them in West Marine or any such place but they are
worth finding. They have a range of sizes which I imagine will include
something smaller than what I have for my Catana. The only reason I don't
have one on my F boat is that I keep her on a lake in Texas and there is
really no need for more than a simple anchor.
