    The world today puts so much attention on money. This is evident through all the clich�s we have on the subject such as "time is money" and "money doesn't grow on trees." However, there is another � "put your money where you mouth is." Do we as Christians put our money where our mouths are by being obedient through tithing?

    As humans we naturally add up in our heads how it is possible to be obedient through tithing while still being able to meet all of our needs. God, though, has given us tithing as a way to express our faithfulness to him. By tithing, we can focus on who we have, and not on what we have. If we are faithful to Him through our tithing, God will provide all that we need. In his sermon "Stewardship," Fred Lowery outlines principles on faithfulness through giving.
