Unfortunatly the latest gnat binary distribution I found on the Net is gnat-3.12p-powerpc-ibm-aix4.1.4.0 which doesn't work under AIX 5.1 (collect2: /usr/lib/libc.a: not an import library). This is for sparetime Free Software stuff, so buying from ACT is not an option. COM adds some (somewhat big) overhead which may not be interresting. one thing to notice: coding plugins is ONLY a matter of interface.
