Tip 1 - Organizing Craft Tips and Instructions Thought this might help others. Purchase binders (any size) and buy index tabs. Organize by holiday, special occasion, or just general ideas. Works great. I love all the tips that have been posted. I collect and sort lots of stuff, lots of paper stuff. Names addresses, quick tips, pictures I have cut out, ideas of all sorts. My desk and some drawers have gotten crazy! I have taken all that stuff that I just cannot seem to figure out where it goes and stapled it into an old spiral notebook (notes from classes that I didn't want to get rid of). Years later I've gone back to that book when I need to find some old thing and there I have it. In the mean time, it is shelved neatly with books. Debbie Bane, Connersville, IN Tip 2 - Knitting Tip When knitting garments in pieces in stockinet stitch, that have to be sewn together, if you knit the first two stitch in every row it forms a selvage, which makes it much easier to sew together.
