What a Way to Say Thanks
    Steve Wagers
    I Chronicles 29:1-9

How will you spend your Thanksgiving Day this year? We have so many wonderful customs related to this long-standing tradition in our country - having turkey and dressing, spending time with family, and watching football. And most importantly we take time to be thankful for all we've been given. However, how should we convey our thanksgiving to our God and King?

In his sermon "What a Way to Say Thanks," Steve Wagers explores the thanksgiving observed by David and his people in I Chronicles 29. There was more than a time of prayer thanking God for what he had done; there was worship and adoration for God. This Thanksgiving Day, and every day of the year, let us spend time in celebration of who God is and what he has done for us.

Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude. Gratitude is the completion of thankfulness. Thankfulness may consist merely of words. Gratitude is shown in acts.
    --Henri Frederic Amiel

You say, 'If I had a little more, I should be very satisfied.' You make a mistake. If you are not content with what you have, you would not be satisfied if it were doubled.
