Driving around Turkey with David (Jane bought us the flight
tickets for Xmas). We had a great time...I used to live there
but hadn't been back for more than 30 years so its changed a
bit! (Population of Istanbul has increased from 1 million when
I lived there to 15-20 million now..just a tad more crowded)
Found a shop with some interesting marine antiques in Istanbul's
covered bazaar and took a few photos of the type of stuff that is
available; notably a nice pair of brass navigation lights
that I reckon would look good on an older boat...I'll post
them on my website if anyone is interested.
