that my operation was only 2 days ago! Before getting the thumbs up to
come home I passed all the physio tests on Wednesday morning and it was
decided that I wouldn't need crutches and could move straight on to using 2
sticks. It's early days yet and I have been warned that progress after the
first week will be slower. However, I'm getting around the house quite
easily and can manage the stairs okay too, mind, I'm swallowing half a
chemist's shop to keep the pain under control but I shouldn't need the
stronger ones after the first couple of weeks.
Thanks to everyone for their good wishes.
Connie
