fighting 20 mph winds with gusts to 30.
Turning in Zinfandel in a few hours, then off to collect our
boat on the Mon & Brec in s. Wales, for another week.
On the Great Ouse, moored:
Tuesday night at Holywell - cute village; good food in waterside Old Ferry
Inn.
Wednesday night at St. Ives - nice market town; good carvery lunch
at waterside Dolphin Hotel
Thursday night back at Earith
Friday night at waterside Plough in Fen Ditton, just outside Cambridge.
Was disappointed to find that this was a chain pub!
BTW, a bowthruster is a true wonder. Non-traditional, to be sure, but
very, very, effective.
